Tonight, I am sitting out in my lovely garden where Nala, my cat, is chasing bugs. She has been so good at just staying in the yard. She snoozes under the outdoor sova, loving the heat of the day as she lays on the warm tile. At night, she lounges by the pool, trying to figure out what that large body of water is. She is the perfect cat. Calm and so good.

Since I arrived at my house, I have been slowly unpacking and going through the house, getting rid of things I know I don’t want anymore. This will take time. I have created space for all the boxes of things which will come on Sunday. It is a lot, so more needs to go, but I will take it one step at a time.
It has been rewarding to eliminate things and create space for new. All the 4 boxes came, which I shipped from Sweden. A few things were unfortunately broken, but most are things I can replace, if I so choose. Today, I got a delivery of a new refrigerator, induction stove and dishwasher. They are beautiful. Like beautiful jewelry to the kitchen. I have all the things put into the refrigerator with room to spare, and I baked a pizza in my oven. The only thing that doesn’t work is the icemaker and water dispenser. The water is on, but there must be something I am missing.
I have been watching home improvement shows on Netflix, as well as organizing shows that get my juices flowing to organize and purge more things. I have too much. I suppose most of us do. My house has a lot of space since it is just me, and I want to be smart about where things go. The garbage and recycle are full, and I have so much to take somewhere already. I will sell my old refrigerator and stove, as they still work well, but the dishwasher was removed.

The landscapers and the pool guy came today as well. Everything looks so neat and tidy now. I set out all the things for a morning workout tomorrow. That is going to be exciting to start again. Also, yoga classes on Wednesday mornings are going to be on my weekly schedule.
I have been on OfferUp, which for you swedes that is the same as blocket. I have been looking at Traeger grills and electric pianos. Figure the money from the sale of appliances can be for that. I have suddenly been itching to play piano again, although it has been a long time. I figure if I got an electric piano, I could easily put it away or have headphones if I want to play when someone is around. Plus, they are not as heavy as a regular piano.
I still have my loom to find a place for with all the stuff I have for that creative endeavor. I paired down when I packed, but I know I still have a lot of stuff. Beverly and I went to a yarn store, and I was delighted to find they have weaving supplies as well and someone who weaves and teaches people. That was a bonus, and it was right next to a lovely cookie place, which we tried, and it was divine.

It is HOT here in Phoenix. It has been over 100 (40+) every day, and it only cools down to 80 or 85 (30 to 33) in the evenings. I work up a sweat inside, let alone as soon as I walk outside. It feels like a sauna. I have the air conditioners running pretty often to keep it comfortable 74 inside. I have been in the pool a few times but not as often as I thought. Hopefully, after my workout tomorrow. It takes all the energy I have to accomplish the smallest things but a little at a time, and I will get there.
