At the beginning of the week, I got to do a lot of people watching while at La Soupe. It is located in the daylight basement of a hotel. I took the train down to Malmö Sunday evening and stayed with a friend so I could work two final days. I always meet interesting people and got to enjoy some special time together with my friends. It was worth coming down.

I like speculating what people are thinking. There is always lots of activity in Malmö. It was slow the first day, but the second day got better. It made the time go slower but still interesting. One evening, I went for a walk at Folkets Park, where they had an installation for swedish Design Center. I love seeing the transformation in the park. I always see something new each time.

I came home and rested. I was so tired. I did laundry for a couple of days, and today, I will be cleaning the apartment. Only a little over 2 weeks until I go to the US. It feels a bit overwhelming. I can’t seem to focus and get things done. I want to sequester myself and stay quiet. I want to put my head in the sand and pretend I don’t have things to decide. I want to stay in my comfort zone. But I can’t.

I don’t always have the answers, but I do it anyway. I keep going despite wanting to give up. I keep working even when I go sideways or backward. I keep reaching for something more. I want to be better, do better, and achieve more. I will focus on becoming. Becoming someone who is better today than yesterday.

Nala discovered a drawer in the kitchen. She tried to climb into the next one but she did not fit. She didn’t give up easily. I need to be more like that. Not give up on myself and my dreams. I have more to give, more love, and I am capable of anything I set my mind to. I am worthy of everything I want and so are you! We can do this but we have to keep working.

Tomorrow is Sunday and Easter. Some businesses were closed on Thursday and will remain closed until Tuesday. That is pretty wild. I managed to clean the apartment, and then we (Nala and me) took a nap. We had a bit of snow last week, right sfter I planted these pansies, but it only lasted until the sun came out the next day. Happy Easter or Glad Påsk!
