The week has gone quickly. I finished my writing retreat by adding up my words. I think I have a good start, so now it’s time to start the editing process. Nala is still in heat, so she could not have her surgery Monday as planned. Hopefully, next week. She got some pills to help break the cycle. The problem is I had said I would work Monday and Tuesday at La Soupe in Malmö and she is in Värnamo. I have asked if someone can fill in at La Soupe, so we shall see. I really want to get this done so she can start healing before I head to the states.

The rest of this week, I am filling in for Jenny at La Soupe while she has a fabulous vacation! Our boss is also on vacation, so hopefully, it will work out for Nala. It was very quiet the first day at the restaurant so hoping the rain today brings in more people.
We had more snow in Värnamo and a bit of a crazy snowstorm in Malmö right when I got here. I managed to get the tires pumped up on my bicycle and one tire replaced before cycling down for dinner with my friend Moa. That was a fun way to start my final week here.

I managed to get some cherry branches and decorated them for Easter, which is coming soon. Look forward to seeing the blossoms when I get back. I have been errands taken care of and meeting as many as I can manage while here in Malmö. Celebrated with a friend who had a birthday, which was wonderful. Really enjoy my friends here.

Today, I did my tax declaration via text message. I did not have much to declare, so I get a tax refund. Nice surprise. I am now at the tax place to submit my divorce paperwork on my way to work. There was already a line waiting as they opened just after I arrived.
