I missed writing this week but there wasn’t a lot going on, so I saved it for now. This week I took my written test for my drivers license and passed! I also had a driving lesson and have 2 more and then my driving test next Friday.

We had snow Thursday night in Malmö but it was all gone by late morning Friday. After my test, on Thursday, this woman starts chatting me up in english. She had also been to take the test for her second time. She had not passed again and was disappointed but wished me all good things and told me what a good job I had done. We talked after we got on the bus to go home and all the way to my bus stop. She was from Pakistan and has 3 children. She was such a delight to talk to and followed me on Instagram so we could keep in touch. I may never see her again but what a gift she was.

It was this and a couple of other instances where friends called and invited me out, that I knew God was watching out for me and sending me angels in the form of these people to remind me I was loved and cared about. Thank you to all who reached out this week and other times and even those who just thought about me. I am reminded yet again, that God is good and he knows what I need. He knew I needed those people and that I was lonely. My calender got a little fuller, life got a bit easier and I am so blessed.

Shortly after I returned home, I went to meet some friends. The mechanic who had my car called. They hadn’t found anything of concern just a minor thing. I also asked about an oil change and new tires. He gave me a quote for those and the small brake sensor. I agreed to the cost and he thought he could get it done the next day. And so it was, being in flow. The flow of all things working out for my benefit. I was not caught up in trying to make them work, they just worked. I picked up my car late Friday, then went out with friends and danced my heart out and now I am in Värnamo.

Today, Saturday, I drove up to Värnamo. It was about 2 1/2 hours drive north. Sorin got keys to an apartment there so I brought up some things for him. Sheets, towels, blankets, etc. It is a big 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor. Tonight we walked around in the snow and cold. We walked downtown and even though almost everything was closed, it was lovely. I look forward to going downtown again and trying out their Semla. Semlor are only sold until Easter. I like to sample as many as I can, as I love them. They are a creme puff type sweet bun, hollowed out with marzipan in the bottom and whipped cream. Yummy!! I have had two so far this year, both delicious. Look forward to a third.
