It has been quite a year. My brother and his wife sent me a package with cocoa puffs and some treats from Italy! It brightened my day to see them. I knew I was getting the cocoa puffs but did not realize I was getting all the goodies so it was a nice surprise.
The week slowed down as we approached which was nice. I went to a year end completion with my friends from London via zoom. It was very inspiring as we planned how we wanted 2023 to be. It inspired me to book a workout at 9 am on New Year’s eve and because I couldn’t cancel without a fee I went. It felt good to fit it in! I came home and felt tired the rest of the afternoon but proud of myself.
Tonight I wanted to see the fireworks in town so I took the bus into town. It was crammed full of people with the same idea. There were loads of people shooting off fireworks everywhere. I missed the big show but it was still fun despite the rain. Wishing you all a Happy new year! May all your aspirations become realities and may the year bring much happiness.
