Another Christmas has come. Last year I was in town and this time I am a little outside of town but it is still beautiful. I haven’t been able to enjoy the lights as much but our courtyard is nicely decorated and my apartment is very cozy.

Last night I walked to folketspark with a friend. It was cold but nice. The park was all lit up. It is called winter dream. There were ice skaters in the park and a few people enjoying the lights as well. There were some boxes with bows on top, Christmas trees and lights along the walk way. Scenes were set up, enjoyable to all.

It was magical to look into the Windows of others with Christmas stars or lights. Christmas eve and Christmas day was quiet aside from a few fireworks. I had purchased all the requirements for dinner but ended up eating Rice pudding with cherry sauce.

Janssen’s temptation is in the oven cooking and soon the smells will be filing the air. I had plans with my friends Christmas day but I have a sore throat so will be staying home and eating the dinner I had planned for yesterday.   I have Christmas movies on tv and enjoying the decorations all around. That is something I can say I both do well and enjoy, making my space feel like home.

I was able to talk to most of my family Christmas eve. My mom and dad were having the family over for Christmas dinner, along with some friends. It was nice to see everyone getting ready for the festivities. Missing them all so much but appreciating the technology, which allows me to connect with them.

I have a busy week ahead if all goes according to plan. I am so grateful for all I have, all I have been able to experience and life has offered. The good and the bad all help me to remember how blessed I truly am. May you be blessed in every way.
