Me vs the bulldog

I have been relaxing and enjoying walks with my brother’s girls. They took turns showing me around town so I got to spend quality time with them. I love that they want to have this time with me. They are 17 and 15 now and just the most delightful young ladies. We have not had the opportunity to spend time together very often but I love that they are wanting to make the most of the time we have now. Bonding is important.

They have a french bulldog and she does not like me. Very territorial and follows me everywhere. She is constantly cornering me and trying to bite me. She jumps on my thighs and lunges at me. I have never been afraid of dogs before but afraid of this one. She jumped at me and got my shirt instead of my belly so now I have a hole. I have bruises on my thighs where she has jumped at me. She is very strong. Just when I think she is going to be nice she nips at me.

Last night my brother and I had some time together. We talked a lot about our childhood and what we remember. He has such a good memory. I am so grateful for all my siblings.

Larisa and me

Today Larisa and I will do some shopping and this weekend will be busy with tourist things. So glad I came so I can get closer to my family. It has been a long time since we have had this much time together. My brother and sister-in-law look out for me and I appreciate that.

  1. You sure get around. You are very well traveled by now. Here in Seattle we have some cold days, frost on the ground this morning. Snow that came a couple of weeks ago melted after a few days. Christmas is around the corner. Tree is looking good. We go easy on shopping. Baked most of the day yesterday. Went to Leif Erikson members meeting last night. Very nice, good food, singing and visiting.
