The time has gone so quickly and suddenly Sherelle was on her way home this morning. It was such a fun time and we did a lot of sightseeing. We drove up to Göteborg and went to Liseberg amusement park. My friend Louise works there setting up all the wonderful displays and it was lovely. It invoked the Christmas spirit.

The decorations were fantastic. Lots of lights, flocked trees and tomtes. Santa’s workshop was there with the elves busily working away to grant the children their wishes. It was absolutely delightful to behold. On our way we stumbled upon a Christmas market. It was very cozy with a castle on the side.

After our overnight at the very nice Quality Inn in Göteborg, we made pur way to Oslo, Norway. We stopped and did a little shopping outside of Uddevalla. Cheese, and other goodies. I did however forget an ice scraper which would have come in handy the following day as it snowed.

We stayed at a Mariott since Sherelle had some points. It was very cool but about 25 minutes outside of Oslo near the airport. We stayed in the first night since it took us longer to get there than anticipated. There were a lot of people there after some kind of competition.

Monday we got up early and hit the streets. We took the bus into town and did a little shopping and looked around. We met mu cousin Robin and had a nice lunch together and afterwards we got a nice personalized tour of Oslo. Always learn something new that I won’t remember but he gives the best tours.

We had a rather nerve-wracking drive home with ice, snow and slush so it took 7 1/2 hours instead of the 6 hr 15 min we planned. So we canceled going to Växjö the next day and stayed local. We did manage to find canned fish balls and brown cheese for ny brother Fredric and nugatti (like nutella) for me and bought a turkey for Friday dinner with friends.

Christmas is popping up all over. I got to work at LaSoupe today because Jenny was sick. Worked out all around although getting up at 3 am to take Sherelle to the airport this morning was a bit rough. Now to prep for Friendsgiving and tidy up the apartment a bit. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and thanks for the birthday wishes!
