Fall is here with similar weather to Washington state. Rain and sun mix with mild temperatures. It occurred to me I have never experienced a Fall here. I have never seen the trees change colors. I have been here in November and into the other months at times but never the fall months. I am glad I have the opportunity to be here. I can imagine the explosion of colors that will come as the trees are starting to change and there are so many deciduous trees. There are evergreens as well but not as plentiful as in Washington.

I have not taken a lot of photos this week but it has been a busy week. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I have been catching up on my paperwork which I have been putting off until tomorrow, and on some accounts, it has been 3 months worth. Yikes! I have eleven accounts I reconcile and some of the big ones I have waited a long time to update. I always have something more fun to do.

Thursday I went to dinner with 3 very good friends and the daughter of one. It was a really great time. We went to a place known for its pizzas. I love knowing I have good friends to spend time with. In the park nearby called Folkets Park it is very beautiful at night but the photos I took were not good. There are sculptures in the park that light up with water fountains. Sweden has many beautiful parks like this all around the city. This is one of the things I love about being here are all the beautiful well-kept parks.

Friday I went to an event for the party I voted for. I got to speak to the party leader of Malmölistan Nils Littorin who wants to help Malmö be a better city and is passionate about his work in his city, as well as being a father and a chiropractor. I admire his dedication and drive. I met him when I first came to an event and he had just started his party. I hope it gains momentum for all the work he has done. At the event, I met many people I knew and met one person I had connected with online thru a friend. It was so good to finally meet and we were both delighted. She recognized me which I was thankful for because I have difficulty with faces but recognized her name immediately when she said who she was.

Sunday was a quieter day with an opportunity to rest and recover which was much needed. Needed to rebook my laundry time to Tuesday as the laundry is piling up much quicker than I anticipated. That will keep me at home and hopefully give me a chance to do some more work on the computer. The job and apartment search is going slow but the loan is progressing for purchasing an apartment but prices have been going down here so not sure I will do that. Looked at tickets to come home and booked a time with the veterinarian for Olive so we can get her here. Hoping everything goes well with her.

Rebecca, my bonus daughter had a birthday on Saturday. I did not get to talk to her but we texted anyway. I also went to my cousin Christina’s house to celebrate her daughter Vicki’s birthday. I ordered a cake for her and brought her flowers. The cake was not what she wanted and when I called to order they were not very helpful. I wanted chocolate with whip cream but I got a white cake with chocolate mousse. It was decorated beautifully but not what I wanted. I was disappointed they were not more helpful. I will know better next time.
