I am so thankful for my family and friends. People who check in on me to make sure I am ok. I feel very lucky to have amazing people in my life. I would never be able to survive without them. Life has not quite turned out as planned. Along the way there have been ups and downs. Plans have gone awry and still I find I have beautiful friendships and life experiences. How can I be so blessed? How do I deserve it?

My best friends in Malmö are Malin and Moa and they have both come up with things to do when I need it most. Malin took me to a part of Malmö this week which does not have the best reputation, Rosengård. A lot of different cultures land here because it is on the outskirts of Malmö and less expensive. Lots of different cultures all mixed together can be interesting but also tenuous.

However, Rosengård is known for its green spaces having a large park, their own centrum with a mall and the best falafel places according to the reports I have read. So we decided to go and have a look around. It was a much needed distraction.

It was a rainy day but we made the trek anyway. Thr bus stopped one stop past where we wanted to go so we walked longer to the mall and looked around. There were a lot of men inside eating lunch. We went to the falafel truck outside but there was no place to sit with all the rain so we ended up eating our falafel on the backside of the mall. Watched this truck place this container inside the building while we ate. I felt he was quite skilled and thought it interesting to see.

It has been a tough few days and I am so glad for all the distractions. It amazes me how people call just when I need them. I love how God works these miracles. Bonnie, Lina and Markus came down from Helsingborg and Landskrona for lunch, which was so good. I enjoyed meeting Markus and seeing the other two again. Bonnie and I met at church 5 years ago when I was here after my father passed away. She has been good at holding contact all this time.

Today I had the headlamps checked on the car. The mechanic was so great! He changed my bulb and adjusted a light for free! I think I found my service place! They were tricky to find but so nice. Even the receptionist was super friendly. It was a recommendation from my friend Mary and I would recommend them highly.

I walked around town today after returning a movie to the library. It was a nice day for it. I looked for Sorin, my boyfriend, who has been angry with me. He has bee sick and refuses to let me help. I hoped he was okay but I did not find him. I was feeling rather down about it so tried to cheer myself up with flowering heather.

Fall is definitely in the air. Mario picked a good week to come because it has been raining daily here now. The leaves are starting to turn and I hope to have some fantastic foliage as we have a lot of deciduous trees around. Fall happens to be my favorite season. Looking forward to the colors which are yet to come. I will be okay, especially with my wonderful family and friends looking out for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥.
