Sunday I went I to Central London to do some sightseeing. The previous evening I had been out after the conference. We went to the same place we had been the evening before and had similar things but the food was better than the night before and different company.

So many inspirational people at the conference. We talked about Emotional Intelligence which is a practice to become aware of our emotions and learn from our experiences. We had some folks talking about menopause and the changes which affect men and women. We talked about having new thoughts leading to new behaviors, we got in some dancing, and networking together. I met a lot of wonderful people, some I had seen on zoom during other events and many for the first time.

I had a great time exploring central London by myself but it would have been more fun if Manjit could have been there but she got sick from the meal the night before. I got to see Covent garden which had a lot of interesting restaurants and lots of street performers. There was also a market with handmade items, flowers and such.

From there I walked to South Bank and walked along there after my lunch from Pret A Manger, a lovely salad. There were also street performers and a lot of people. This led me to Westminster. Where the Parliment building, Big Ben and WestMinster church are. There were some protestors outside the parliament square. Felt quite at home. On my way back I ate a delicious Sundae before heading back on the tube.

Monday I checked out of the hotel and made my way to airport terminal. I was hoping to save some time by leaving my bag there in a storage bin. Had to walk to Terminal 3 which was a ways and against the traffic but I found a place. Didn’t save much time or expense in the end but got the job done. Had the best fish (Haddock) and chips with mushy peas at lunch with my friend and health coach Laura! That was super fun to learn more about her.

The trip home was a bit delayed but I found my way back to the airport, retrieved my bag and went to Terminal 5 to relax. I ate at Gordon Ramsey’s Plane Food and had an amazing tomato basil salad and best macaroni and cheese ever! So despite the trip being delayed a couple hours it went OK. It did mean I got in at 1 am Monday. I was tired all the next day!
