Today I sent my dad copies of a story I started for my grandchildren and decided to also pass on to my nieces and nephews who are younger. It is a story about me coming to Sweden in simpler terms with a few words in Swedish. I have asked my dad to please copy them and put them into a binder. I have done chapters 1 – 4 up to New Year’s and will continue to add to them as I am on my trip. This way they will have something to look forward to and hopefully read. I love to encourage reading. My grandchildren aren’t big readers but hopefully, they will enjoy the story.

Today I taught my class at Nordic Wellness. I had changed some tracks to keep it interesting and made some big mistakes but I kept my cool. I was able to pretend I knew what I was doing even if I did not. I am much better at this now than I have been in the past so cheers to me. Most of them I did well but not the lunge track. I am feeling the workout pain already so I hope it isn’t terrible tomorrow.

Today I saw my cousin Christina and her daughter. I had banana and curry pizza which my friend Sofia who used to live in Washington but now lives in New York. It was pretty good but not as good as theirs. It was nice to catch up with them and see what is going on. We talked mostly about me I realize now as I am writing.

It has been a little rainy the past few days. Nothing wrong with Spring rain which brings out all the beautiful flowers. I took a little walk around the neighborhood which was nice. I took some photos but they had my finger in them so did not get as many as I thought.

My right knee is acting up. It is pretty swollen. I finally went in to get an appointment at the doctor to see what is happening because after a week it has not improved. It hurts at night and after I have walked up the gym stairs and there are a lot of stairs plus the stairs up to my apartment. I took the bus today instead of riding my bicycle because of the rain. A little bit of walking at both ends is great too.

My landlord has been at the apartment as well this week. He is meeting with real estate agents so he can put the apartment up for sale soon. I will be able to stay 3 months after the sale agreement which will hopefully be August or September. I will have time to prepare which I great.
