It has been really beautiful here. Sunshine most days, nice temperature of about 60 to 65 and just amazing. The sunshine should help my mood but I find I am depressed. Lots of things happening and I am struggling to cope. My resiliency is not what I hoped. My mountain feels a bit like the building in the photo above, huge!

I have a tendency to put my head in the sand and hope things will go away. Yes, I do some things to move forward, but still hope it will go away and I don’t have to deal with it. Finding a new apartment, job , and other decisions which I need to make along the way. I mostly feel like giving up and very little fight.

Dan sent me a package back in January with my perscriptions and so on and it never arrived. It finally got returned to him and he repackaged it and sent me two smaller ones. I have received one of them so far. The kids had written me these cards and I am so blessed I get to have them. These made me so happy and loved. 😊

I was able to get a library card finally and the one book I checked out was one I had read before. Total bummer but it happens. Went to return it on Sunday, May 1st, and walked through a part of a park I had not been before with these interesting trimmed trees. A whole row of them. Also it was May 1st which is a big rally day. The political parties had different rallies in town and even a parade. Interesting.

I got to meet the manager at the gym I get to teach at. She is very young and sweet. I got a tour and went through work stuff. An actual personnel room with private toilet and two private showers. I get a T-shirt and jacket too. On the way to the group exercise room I tripped over a foam roller. So embarrassing, I was just following after the manager, not paying attention. Face plant!

I got into the room and had 7 people waiting for me!! I went through a few things with the manager quickly and then threw myself into the workout. It was an absolute blast and killed it and me. I was shaking by the end from fatigue but it was awesome and I performed my very best! One gal said it was a great class so it confirms what I felt. It was fun to do in english, she said. I walked back home because I had to wait 10 minutes or so for the bus and as I was arriving home the bus passed me, super convenient, too bad it may not be always. I also got an offer for a class in September on Thursday nights, nearby as well. Very popular class here, which is great for me. They also have a receptionist job opening I will apply for as well.

Things are coming my way but still plenty of things to work out. Hate the idea of moving again. It will be 6 times in just the past 3 years. Exhausting to keep moving around and so glad I don’t have furniture too but I have a bit more stuff than I should considering this was probably temporary. 😁
