Daily stuff

I made it back safe and sound from Spain to a wonderful sunny day. We had to come back to see sunshine like this! We did catch a bit on the final day as we traveled to Alicante Airport. We had such a fun time. I came home, put away everything, started laundry, went to the mall for some things and slept very well.

Sunday I had a birthday party to attend. I was so excited to be invited and we had such a good time. We ate cake and pie. We danced, talked and shared stories. It was special to spend time together and meet new friends. I also got to see my 4 furry friends. They usually don’t all come see me at once.

Monday was just laundry and catching up with getting the apartment tidied up, dusted, floors mopped, etc. I also had a long call with my health coach who encourages me. She is helping me to rethink how I feel about myself. Her great insight helps me dig deeper. I also got to go to the dentist for a teeth cleaning. A little different but very efficient.

Tuesday was my father’s birthday. He would have been 75. I had been thinking about going to his grave but I just couldn’t go by myself. I have not been there since Christmas Eve and it felt strange. My father and I had not been getting along so well before he died. My sister and I had came to see him for the last time in November the year before. We saw my grandmother as well and she passed just a few months before him.

I managed to get in a BodyPump training. Enjoyed the instructor and class immensely. I got her number and she already welcomed me to the club as if she knows i will be a team member soon. She said I should not worry about doing the class in English and she thought it would be super fun for people to have it as it originally is. Made me feel more confidence and assured I could do it.

I also finally managed to write myself in the unemployment office so I can see what how they can help me get a job or study. Also signed up to the insurance bureau because they were not sure I was eligible for dental care so we shall see what I have to pay. I do have my Free health card now, which means doctor visits, chiropractor visits, and my medication is free. One good thing not sure how this is related to insurance bureau. I am not sure how all the agencies work exactly so always seem a bit behind. The insurance place I had spoken to before and they said they were 6 months

I will end with good news. My sister Amanda and her husband Skylar had a beautiful healthy son on the same day as my father’s birthday and my friend Lena. March is full of wonderful people having birthdays, including my mother and maybe one of you.

  1. Looks like you’re doing well. Love you in red. Sorry about your Dad. I was thinking how much our relationships with our families always stay with us. The past always teaches us something. That’s true for me. Very nice picture of the two of you. ~ Those kitties and that hunka burnin’ love baby.
