Stressed

When I first woke up, I was so angry. Angry I have to move, pack and stress about money. I especially don’t have a good relationship with money. I tend to bury my head in the sand and hope it goes away, but alas it never does. Something else to work on.

When I got up I experienced what I believe must be vertigo. The room was spinning and I couldn’t stand up without holding on to something. Freaked me out. I was dizzy and unsteady.

I went back to bed hoping to make it stop, and dreamed about packing and getting all the things from all the places. It was a crazy dream.

That reminded me I do have things here and there I NEED to pack up. Time to live with what I truly need to make it easier on myself later. I also discovered a carry on suitcase of stuff I forgot about and need to go through, AGAIN. I need a lot less than I have and I certainly don’t have space for it so time to get real.

Life will go on, things will get done and someday I will probably just toss half the stuff in my boxes but until then I will get ready. Shower, finish up packing, reorganize the boxes and hopefully ease my monkey brain about this bit of stress.

I’m right there with you, and understand. Went down to basement yesterday to find big puddle and a sump pump that had quit working. Roof needs replacing. Washing machine doesn’t spin dry anymore. Last side of house needs painting, still, although will have to take backseat to everything else. UGH!!!

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100 sure. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

  Thank you for asking Blaine. Your message got lost in the spam folder for some reason. I am not very savvy myself but my friend recommended it. There are a few issues such as the blog can not be viewed from the site but they do get e-mailed if they subscribe. It actually doesn’t cost much for a personal blog. Could maybe add up but not at all much. Website was free for the first year and $5 after a month. I think hosting cost something but it is a bit of a blur. It was pretty easy to set up all in all, except for that link. I did pay for a 30-minute starter session for $ which was ok but I think I should have just checked out the videos and tried it. It is pretty fun to get started. I find it is easy to write with the format being simple which I like. Adding photos is easy I just wish it would be able to be viewed from the main page. Something to work on…so I don’t get bored. Hope that helps but please reach out again if you like.

Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

  I am using WordPress. I got to choose my layout and then could customize it. I thought it was pretty easy as I am not very technical.
