I just got my order of yummy pizza and garlic knots from my favorite pizza place. It is local and called New York Pizza Dept (NYPD). They source their water from New York and have names like Wallstreet and Brooklyn for their pizzas.  Dan and I ate here years ago. They have several locations, and it was always the first place we went when we arrived here. Haven’t had one since I have been here. Can’t wait to dig in.

I went with a friend and daughter to Glendale Glitters, which was recommended by my therapist. It was so pretty. There were people selling things, including food. I bought a tamale and some rosettes. Very glad I got to went. Glad my friend was up for it.

Otherwise, in the news, it is almost Christmas! It is not news, I know, but last Christmas I was in Sweden, and it feels strange to be somewhere else this year. 3 different places in the last three years. I should be used to change, but I can say I am not. I’m not sure what this year will bring. Will I be alone or not? I have a first date tomorrow evening. We will be playing mini golf. Should be fun. We have been talking for a few weeks now. We shall see how it goes. I have not settled on anyone yet.

This week, I decided to start a bookkeeping business, so I have started learning about quickbooks online and how to do this. I am starting to market myself and reaching out to financial planners and CPA’s who could refer me. If you know anyone who needs bookkeeping, let me know! I can help them save money and give them more time to focus on the important things.

I also have had a mammogram and pelvic ultrasound. Just routine stuff. Went to the dentist for a cleaning. I am also thinking of renting out a couple of rooms in my house too. Might be nice to have company. Nala is a pretty good companion when she wants to be. I am glad to have options.

I have sold some of my gratitude journals, which is nice. Thank you, friends. I feel very lucky to have completed that project. I’m still thinking about paint parties as well. It is more for fun.

I worked on a gym diorama today. That was fun. It rained most of the day, so an inside project was nice. Made me realize how much I have been missing doing that kind of thing. Being creative can be fun. I need some more equipment for my gym to make it look good but it is a start.

I have been getting up at 6:30 every day, which has been good. I have been able to do some sort of exercise every day and feel more optimistic about life in general. It is incredible that exercise can do that. I always looked at it more as a weight loss goal, but now that I have shifted to feeling better in life, it is easier to do. I get up and do it first thing before I have time to decide not to. So far, it has worked.

While I thought I had nothing to report, I guess there were a few things after all. I also found red paint on my tires this week after a day of running errands. I’m not sure why or who, but there it is. Maybe it marks me safe in a zombie apocalypse. Lol.
