It has been so hard saying goodbye to my friends and family. It feels like it did when I was leaving the States. I have sold my car now. I sold it back to the man I bought it from. I miss it but the public transportation is very good, it just takes a bit longer.

On my way down, I stopped by a place I had been curious about. It was just after the Småland and Skåne border. Candy airlines. A little airplane with loose candy. It was pretty popular but a cute stop.

I went to Värnamo one last time. It was a long journey because there was train track work being done. There seems to be a lot of that kind of thing. I got to see some different places because I had two bus trips and two train rides. The bus rides were quite cool. Saw some really quaint villages and towns.

Sorin and I went to Jönköping and while we were waiting for his appointment with the IRS we went to a match factory. It was pretty interesting. They had a big factory and display of how the matches had been made and packaged. They were often packaged by families at home. One man assembled all the different match factories in one place. I learned that paraffin coating the matches is what makes them burn longer.

My host at my airbnb apartment has been very nice. Intergrating the cats has not gone as smoothly, but I think it is getting a little better. My cat has been a stinker and has been cornering her cats. She is more dominant than I thought she would be. She will take care of Nala while I am in London. The view is pretty nice and nice to see the sunrise from the dinong room window. Sunset are just a few minute walk to the park.

I have been doing a puzzle with Ninna, my host. She loves games and puzzles. She is very smart. She is a nurse at a hospital in Denmark. She has been on vacation this week. The weather has been very nice. Sunshine every day, but that means the apartment is quite warm. I am flying to London this afternoon. It is a short flight of just over an hour. I am very tired from staying up late the past few nights.

Ninna invited some people over, night before last, and last night, I went to a picnic with two friends and met a few others after. It was fun, and I am definitely going to miss them, but I am so grateful I got to meet them.
